Who runs this site

7 Bridges Stays is the lodging page for 7 Bridges Marathon. It is operated and hosted by Bookend, a registered United States company at 3150 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305, US, on behalf of the event. The full legal identity of the operating company appears on every agreement it signs. Questions about anything on this page go to privacy@bookendpartners.com.

What we collect when you book

Only what a reservation needs:

  • Your details. The name, email address, phone number and party size you enter at checkout.
  • The stay. The property, your check-in and check-out dates, the nights, and the price you paid.
  • Payment. Your card is entered on a form hosted by Stripe and charged by Stripe. We receive a payment reference and the amount — never your card number, and the card fields are not part of any recording of this site.
  • The terms you accepted. Which version of the booking terms you agreed to and when, kept as evidence in case a payment is ever disputed.
  • People you split with. If you split a booking, the email addresses of the people you invite, so they can pay their share.
  • Messages. Anything you send us through the chat on this site or by email.

What we record while you browse

We measure how this page gets used, because a guest who picks dates and then leaves is the only way we learn what is wrong with it. Two things do that:

  • Our own counter. Each page view, each time a stay window is chosen, each time Reserve is pressed, and the price you were quoted — plus the site that referred you and any campaign tags on the link you followed. These go to bookendpartners.com, tied together by the browser id named below.
  • Heatmaps and session replay, through Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how pages are used — clicks, taps, scrolling and pointer movement — and can play a visit back, so we can see where people get stuck. It is a recording of this page, not of you: no camera, no microphone, and the payment fields belong to Stripe's frame rather than ours. Microsoft runs Clarity as our service provider, under its own privacy statement.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not track you across other companies' sites.

What is stored on your device

  • bk_sid, bk_st7 Bridges Stays (local storage)

A random id for this browser, and a note of which steps it has already reported today, so one visit's pages, date choices and reservation attempt count as one visit rather than four strangers. Not linked to your name unless you book.

  • _clck, _clskMicrosoft Clarity

Ties your page views together into one recorded session, for the heatmaps and replay described above.

  • __stripe_mid, __stripe_sidStripe

Payment fraud screening, set when a checkout page loads. Stripe requires them; without them a booking cannot be taken.

  • Sign-in cookie7 Bridges Stays

Keeps staff and property-owner accounts signed in. Guests browsing stays are never issued one.

You can clear or block all of it in your browser's settings. Blocking the first two rows costs you nothing here; blocking Stripe's means a booking cannot be taken. You can also opt out of Clarity recording on every site that uses it from Microsoft's privacy statement, or email us and we will exclude you.

Who else sees it

The service providers that run this site, each only as far as it needs: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Microsoft (Clarity) and Resend (the emails we send you). A confirmed booking also goes to the property owner or hotel you booked, because they are the ones hosting you; the event partner is told that a booking happened, not who you are. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as accounting, tax and dispute rules require, because a payment can be disputed months after a stay. Browsing counts and Clarity recordings expire on their own — Clarity holds a recording for up to 30 days. Chat messages are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period after.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, exported or deleted, and object to the browsing measurement above. Email privacy@bookendpartners.com from the address you booked with and we will action it and confirm. You will never be treated differently for asking. A booking record we still need for tax or dispute reasons is the one deletion we may have to decline, and we will say so and say why.

Children

This is a lodging site for adults making a reservation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Card details never reach our servers. Access to booking data is limited to the people who operate the service and, for your own stay, the property hosting you.

Changes

If this changes we will update the date at the top of this page. The booking terms you accept at checkout are separate from this policy and are shown to you before you pay.
